Good Dog Food DOES Make A Difference!

I get asked all the time, "What kind of dog food should I feed my dog?" What you feed your dog can make a huge difference on how long he or she lives, and the quality of life. By saving a few dollars on dog food, it may come back to haunt you later in extra vet bills, etc. A lot of so called "brand name" foods, in my opinion, are not good at all, and I personally would never feed them to my dog. The old saying, "You Are What You Eat," couldn't hold more true than with your pet. Think about it, either all or almost all of what they eat their whole lives, is the dog food you buy them. Hopefully you're not feeding them everything thing that you eat off your plate. If you look at the label of your dog food, and see corn as the first or second main ingredient, (Even most Science Diet, Iams, Eukanuba, Pedigree foods are.) I would recommend you change dog food right away. I personally would NEVER buy any brand that I've seen in a grocery store. Here is a link, Dog Food Comparisons you can click on and compare most all dog food brands side by side, and see the difference for yourself.

People ask me what I feed my dogs, I feed mine a brand called Innova - EVO. It can be a little hard to locate though, it's not at your Vet's office or Petsmart or Petco. If you live in the South part of the valley, you can get it at the Hap-E-Dog Barkery at 10960 S. Eastern in Henderson. That's in a little strip mall on the NE corner of Eastern & Sunridge Heights Parkway, just south of Horizon Ridge Drive on Eastern. (702) 614-4381. There is also a location in the NE part of the valley:  K-9 Barracks & Bath at 2225 N. Nellis Blvd - Las Vegas, NV 89115. (702) 452-1963. It costs about $46 for a 28 pound bag.

Here is the LINK to the other 15+ locations who sell Innova - EVO products in the Las Vegas valley.

If Petsmart is your thing, they carry a brand called Blue Buffalo that is a good dog food.
